Modeling and Control Strategy of Wind Energy Conversion System with Grid-Connected Doubly-Fed Induction Generator

چکیده

The most prominent and rapidly increasing source of electrical power generation, wind energy conversion systems (WECS), can significantly improve the situation with regard to remote communities’ supply. main constituting elements a WECS are turbine, mechanical transmission system, doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG), rotor side converter (RSC), common DC-link capacitor, grid-side converter. Vector control is center for RSC GSC techniques. Because direct quadrature components, active reactive also be controller precisely. This study tracks maximum point (MPP) using tracking (MPPT) strategy. MPPT technique provides voltage reference at turbine end. performance efficiency suggested strategy validated by simulation under fluctuating speed. MATLAB/Simulink environment simpower system toolbox used simulate proposed results reveal effectiveness speed good dynamic performance. total harmonic distortions within IEEE 519 standard’s permissible limits which an advantage approach.
